West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, days removed from announcing he won’t seek reelection, said Wednesday that if the nation’s voters give former President Donald Trump another term in the White House, “he will destroy democracy in America.”
Manchin, whose home state voters overwhelmingly backed Trump in the last two presidential elections, made the comment on a press call with West Virginia-based reporters amid speculation that Manchin himself might be weighing a third-party run for president.
The moderate West Virginia Democrat said Wednesday that he would never want to be a “spoiler” who contributed to getting any other candidate elected. But he said he would do what he had to in order to save the country.
“If they said, ‘You’re the only person to do it,’ I’ll do whatever I can to save this nation,” he said.
"They", being the same imaginary people who tell shit to the TOFF. Everyone with even a smidgen of polticial sense knows that if Traitor Joe runs for president, he will act as a sppoler and the TOFF stands a greater chance of getting in.
Traitor Joe is a consummate self-inflated narcissist if he even thinks there is a chance that he's the only one who can defeat the TOFF. That he would even utter such a thing betrays his mindset.
A vote for Manchin is a vote for Trump.

If Manchin believes he is the only one who can stop trump, why not run against Biden for the Democratic ticket? Because Manchin knows damn well he's not popular enough with the Democratic voters to begin with.
Christ. He's doing this thinking he can get someone to buy him off to drop the third-party bid. It's the only reason. "Nice 2024 election cycle you got there, shame if something were to happen to it..."
Moderate? When will they stop this silliness.
Doug, a lot of politicians like to pose as "moderate" as though that still carries merit with the punditry and voters for being a rational, pragmatic political figure able to get things done. However, the ones pretending to be moderate instead hold extreme political views and have a career of doing little that is bipartisan or pragmatic.
If that Joe Manchin is a moderate West Virginia Democrat, that is the last straw. He has only one job, and that is support the people in his impoverished suffering state, the great State of West Virginia. I don't know, maybe he could support Healthcare? Maybe he could bring home a slice of Pork?
He has fantasies of being President Joe Manchin.
