Good. At least they are (finally) stepping up.

Just hope the new one is decent.
Good luck.

When I sent the gun back, I also sent a letter to corporate. I don’t know if that had anything to do with the outcome.

You bought this revolver used and they are replacing it free of charge? Wow. Deal of a lifetime for someone like me. I once bought a new 4-inch #66 and it shot for crap. I even sent it in for an action job thinking it was all me, but it did nothing for the piss poor accuracy. I finally unloaded it on a guy at work and bought a new 66, 6 inch. Not only is the factory trigger close to what I paid for the first time, but the gun also shoots 2 inch groups with my + P handload. I can't totally blame my gun for its problems, but then a different gun solved all the problems. Good luck with your new shooter.

No, this was a new gun. First K-frame that I had bought new since the Carter Administration.

S&W doesn’t do warranty service on used guns. “Lifetime warranty” expires if the gun is sold.

(Taurus does, though.)
