“I tied them to my fender and I drove them home somehow.
Two game wardens, seven hunters, and a cow.”
I was in no mood to trifle.....
Fat chance of that....I saw half of them out at the range last week, for the first time since last year.
Scary gun handing.
B ,
I get what your saying about the gun handling but I find trap shooters the worst and they're out every week .
I have a list of people that I will not shoot with .
On the up side , they did come out to the range . Encourage them to come out more often even if it's only 3 or 4 visits in the fall .

Glenn, I can't offer a very big sample size but I have to go along. I went to the grand opening of a trap/skeet range in Southern Cal years ago, discharged less than half a dozen shells and walked off the position in an ugly scene. Never went back.
I have friends who have had horses and cows shot on opening weekend, and as an off road motorcyclist, I used to stick to the Far-West land on the Northern peninsula of Humboldt Bay just to be safe.
Last time I went out on opening weekend was when I was 17, and walked over the top and down the other side of South Fork Mountain. Didn't get anything, but had a good day anyway. Passed a herd of 100+ does heading for higher ground close enough that I could have touched them with the barrel of my .243.
