Despite mounting evidence of the prince’s role, some of which the president has seen during intelligence briefings, Trump indicated that U.S. economic and national security interests — especially the billions of dollars in arms purchases he said the Saudis would make — outweighed the need to establish whether Mohammed was involved and, if so, punished. As the article goes on to point out, Trump has a track record of taking the personal assurance of autocrats and dictators over evidence. Trump is of the opinion: "Who ya gonna believe, me or your lyin' eyes?"
“They have been a great ally,” he said of the Saudis, and “the United States intends to remain a steadfast partner.”
But, more to the point, I suspect that the Saudis have Trump and/or his son-in-law by the balls, as does Putin.
Which leaves Kim Jong-un. There, Trump thinks that if he signs any sort of agreement with the Norks, that he'll get a Nobel Peace Prize. He'd probably sell Melania to a Somali brothel for that.

Our "international relations" have become a point of contention for me. It's "give me money or lovin and You are A-OK"
This is a disgusting turn for our Nation.
We used to uphold truth and justice, now we run from it.

America has gone from the lamp by the golden door to a red light in a hotel window.
Not original to me:
“Crucifixion is a terrible, terrible thing. Should never happen. And we may never know whether Jesus was guilty of crimes against Rome. Who can say? But thirty pieces IS a lot of silver, and it would be very foolish to turn it down.”
