Did the FAA Drop The Ball, Too?

To Hell with the alphabet groups, I wonder if the FAA knew about this.

The FAA has been silent.

There is a lot in that R/O like 8.33khz
(3:1) splitting of channels. You think
760 channel radios cost wait for the
2000 plus channel radios.

One thing for certain it's not spectrum grab as all the frequencies argued over are for aircraft use though seems the commercials have the big knife in the pie.

This is all driving me out of the aircraft ownership game. I'm hanging on by my fingertips as it is without having to drop a few more AMUs into replacement avionics. Having to deal with the mandatory upgrade from 360 to 760 channel radios was bad enough.

There are far fewer airplanes out there than there were 15 or 30 years ago.

What the fuck?
