A former Hays County GOP leader has been sentenced to 410 years in prison after being convicted of 65 sexual abuse and child pornography charges.

A Hays County judge sentenced 44-year-old Bo Dresner on Monday morning. Judge Gary Steel sentenced Dresner with multiple consecutive, or stacked, sentences.

Because getting powerful GOP pervs out of a jam is what Paxton does.

Adam Hoffman, a 49-year-old Waco attorney, was facing life without parole for the continuous sexual abuse of a young boy. Ken Paxton’s office took the case, sat on it for nearly three years and then offered him a deal to plead guilty to two misdemeanors and serve one day in jail.

Plus no registration as a sex offender, to boot.

If Hoffman hadn't been an influential attorney, he would have done life in prison, at least, until somebody shanked him. But Paxton dropped the felony counts and agreed to let him plead out to two misdemeanors. As it is, the judge sentenced him to two months in jail and he served one. He got out yesterday morning.

A state legislator’s former chief of staff faces charges of child sexual exploitation and child sex trafficking. Federal agents arrested Craig Scott Valdez, 36, early Friday in Juneau, according to court documents.

Valdez is an Anchorage resident listed as having served as Republican Wasilla state Sen. George Rauscher’s chief of staff since November. Valdez was terminated Friday hours after the charges were made public, according to a press secretary for the state Senate minority caucus, of which Rauscher is a member.

Valdez was also elected as chair of the Alaska Young Republicans in January 2025 and became the group’s state committee chair last month, according to social media posts.

And small ones:

Butler Mayor Wesley R. Dingus, a 48-year-old Republican, has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of voyeurism after a Richland County Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed he allegedly entered the bedroom of an underage related female in his care and sniffed her worn underwear on two separate occasions — conduct recorded on a hidden camera the girl set up herself, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

"Dingus"?? That name'll serve him well if they send him to the joint for a spell.

They're salting the files with shit that's not from the Epstein files.

From what I've read, while the Epstein Files Law required the files to be released yesterday, something light eight-tenths of one percent were released. Trump and Bribable Bondi clearly are going to slow-walk the release and, as they have been doing, redacting the shit out of what is released to protect Trump to the maximum degree. And they're also removing files that were released.

Trump and the GOP clearly think that it works for them to smear Bill Clinton. Everything Trump does is projection, he thinks that becaue he has his party defending his pedophilia, that Democrats will defend Clinton if Trump can implicate him. News flash: They won't. Clinton may be a major boogeyman to the Right, but to the Democrats, he's last-century's news.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has directed that the Justice Department move forward with a probe into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation following the recent release of documents aimed at undermining the legitimacy of the inquiry that established that Moscow interfered on the Republican’s behalf in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Bondi has directed a prosecutor to present evidence to a grand jury after referrals from the Trump administration’s top intelligence official, a person familiar with the matter said Monday. That person was not authorized to discuss it by name and spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press. Fox News first reported the development.

Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of sex trafficking in connection with Jeffrey Epstein, has been moved to a federal prison in Texas, officials said Friday.

Maxwell was transferred to the minimum-security federal prison camp in Bryan from a low-security prison in Tallahassee, Fla., a Federal Bureau of Prisons official told the Houston Chronicle.

It's a transfer, based on her offenses and her time in custody to date, she wasn't eligible for. But "they" moved her, anyway.

It's corrupt as fuck. Bondi and Blanche apparently bought Maxwell's cooperation with a transfer from a prison to a Club Fed that was against regulations.

Maxwell will say what they want her to say. She'll deny ever seeing Trump at anything. She'll deny even knowing who Trump is. And she'll get her pardon after the midterm elections. Bet on that.
