The Chinese are putting up fake news sites around the world in order to catapult Party propaganda. Those who have uncovered the operation are calling it PAPERWALL.

There is an old-school way to ensure that you're not consuming Chinese or Russian propaganda: Subscribe to a print newspaper that is not owned by the Murdoch family. Harder is to find a newspaper that isn't owned by some pillaging hedge fund, but it can be done.
