I like how Judicial Ethics prevents the judge in question from commenting.
The 396th District Court election isn’t until 2020. Gallagher had no opponent in the Primary or General Election in 2012 or 2016. Record not easily available for 2000, 2004 or 2008. The questions will be if there is a Republican opponent, or if Texas results in 2018 will encourage a Democrat to file this time.
