I trust you'll be able to spot the flaw in the plan of this criminal mastermind:

A woman allegedly called 911 to draw officers away from her location so she could drive home under the influence, Wayne Police said Thursday. ... Police said Hayley Oates made the call so that she and a companion could drive home from the Grasshopper Bar & Grill on Erie Avenue under the influence without fear of being arrested.

Oates allegedly posted to social media a message reading “lmao.. 2 mins later the cop peals out.. silly piggies tricks r for u.”

And here's another idiot that had to brag about his crime on social media:

A Florida man who killed his wife and posted a photo of the bloody corpse on Facebook was convicted Wednesday of second-degree murder after failing to convince a jury that he shot her eight times in self-defense.

Even Inspector Clouseau might have been able to crack that case.
