In a series of deliberately-provocative Twitter posts, the [Westboro Baptist Church] says it is buying plane tickets to South Africa and is hoping to coordinate with South African police while they stage a protest at the funeral, citing Mandela’s divorce and remarriage as evidence of damnation.I'm not convinced those asswipes are into going to Mandela's funeral. It's probably just a publicity stunt on their part, because those douchebags haven't had their names in the papers for some time.
To be honest about it, the only time that I want to ever see those assholes' names in the papers is when the story is either their obituaries or about their untimely deaths as a result of a series of heart attack (brought on by sudden cases of bullet wounds).
Which, if they fly to South Africa and actually carry out this protest, will probably happen sooner than they think.

I can't believe that South Africa would grant them a visa anyhow. If they weren't on SA's "no admit" list before all this, they certainly are now.
So let's see. Nelson Mandela was on *our* no-admit list. These douchebags are undoubtedly now on SA's no-admit list. If you judge a nation by who they have on their no-admit list, what does that say about the USA?

I think lots of South Africans will be offering large sums of money to the police to be the first to express their ... displeasure ... with the Westboro demonstrators. As Old NFO says, they won't be coming back!
