Life is Good if You Work for Goldman Sachs

You can get drunker than a lord in the middle of the day, stumble into people, scream racial epithets at them, pick a fight with the guy you just insulted, lose the fight and then, you get a ride to the hospital and the guy you picked the fight with goes to jail.

Do not not assist others.

Do not defend yourself.

You have a right to be a victim.

There are people trying to enforce that right.

Doesn't sound like a plan to me.

OMG! The N-word! Everybody run and hide!

My favorite line from a movie: "NAACP means neeners aren't always colored people."

Also wouldn't be surprised if Goldman Sachs purged their records of that guy as soon as they canned him. Or that he was just pretending to be a Goldman.

Can assault ever be justified by verbal provocation? Can stumbling into a table be taken to be assault? Isn't being drunk in public a crime?

"When Reddish saw the blood oozing he fled the scene, leaving his girlfriend at the burrito joint, police said."

Very manly.

Moe, given that it's pretty much SOP in NYC for the NYPD to rigorously apply WWB and that the odds were pretty poor that he'd have been treated at all fairly by the cops, it was excusable of him to run. Might not have been smart or legal, but it was understanable.

Unless there is a source with different information the article linked doesn't support your narrative.

Drunk guy bumped into the diner- diner tried to steady him- drunk guy said “This n----r wants to fight me,”, and the diner punched him out.

If that is accurate, drunk guy is indeed an asshole, but the diner most certainly committed an arrestable offense, while drunk-guy did not.

Drunk guy most definitely deserved getting popped one, but life ain't fair that way.
