Why did the Republicans give a shit whether or not a handful of illegal immigrants received any benefits from this bill? If there were illegal immigrants who had the guts to show up on 9-11 and pitch in, good for them, and what level of bitter asshole do you have to be to want to punish them?
Why did the Democrats lack the balls to stand up to the Republicans on this and just vote down that stupid amendment from the party of Hoover? Oh, I forgot, I know the answer to that one: Because the Democrats are a bunch of spineless pussies.
