Yuck Duty and Other Cat Observations

I have to go wash the ass of one of my cats. That's always fun, keeps me in mind of what the next president is going to have to do in order to clean the stench out of the Pen of the Baboon King.

I'm sort of amazed at times that no matter when I scoop the cats' litter boxes, one of the cats will notice it straight away. It's almost like a contest to see who gets to be the first to crap in the clean litter box.

Anyway, I had my copy of Small Arms of the World out of the bookshelf and when I was done with it, I let it under the coffee table. George seems to think that the book is a good place to take a snooze.

Bwhahaha! My two are like that also. Once *both* of them got into the litter box (small apartment, only one litter box) because neither one of them was going to let the other one be the first one to properly annoint it. Now *THAT* was a funny sight, because they are *big* cats (15 and 17 pounds respectively), and it's just a normal-sized litter box. Somehow they managed it, much like somehow they manage to fit into shoe boxes. Don't ask me how, though!
