Coping With Loss

A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Good stuff. Living in the midwest I haven't been able to *not* go at least a few days, for the last 10+ years. These are much better photographed than I have equipment for - but I do have some great F22 shots from Saturday's golden hour before sunset. Missed the Connie departure, I was north in warbirds and it left on 18.
Bad stuff Friday .. 2 separate accidents each killing 2. I am sure that next year the setup for the ultralight runway will be different.
Glad to see the Connie made it. A friend in Warbirds said it had overnighted at MSN (Madison WI) When they were leaving they had an engine problem, and had to abort takeoff. Rod Lewis sent a learjet to California for whatever parts they needed, and I believe they arrived Wednesday. Beautiful Airplane. now I wish someone could wave a magic wand and get the Airline history museum's L1649 flying again. that one was a beauty.
I wonder what fell off the F-35 at the start of that video...
Thanks for the link! Came for the planes, stayed for the fireworks. Made my coffee break today splendid!
Residents of my home state actively Oshkosh at that time of year.
