The Pollards flew to Israel from the US state of New Jersey on board a private jet owned by US billionaire Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam.
Too bad that Adelson won't be joining Pollard in exile. Pollard is a traitor. Those who are American citizens and who have been supporting Pollard are, to my mind, tarred by the same brush.

Yes, and he wins the IDf's top gong, the USS Liberty Commendation.
No, he wasn't pardoned or released early, no matter how much the Israelis pressured various administrations for it. Pollard was paroled after serving 30 years of a life sentence. His parole expired at the end of November.
Part of me is glad he is elsewhere, part of me wants him still in jail.
