You know, Toyota's getting a bad rap. As a professional mechanic, I would still recommend Toyota to my customers. Their quality is good, regardless of this problem and they'll fix it right the first time. As I say all the time, I work on a boatload of 20 year old Toyotas, Hondas, and Nissans but there ain't many 20 year old American cars that cross my threshold.
