Times Slowly Changing for the Po-Po

A few recent instances of cops being charged with DUIs.

Time was that they would have been told to "get home safe" and let go, or even given a ride. And nobody would say anything to anybody.

A few years ago our former Oakland County Executive was reported to be 'escorted' home a few times by the Sheriff's Department. It was even reported how he damaged a County Vehicle by driving it down railroad tracks. These incidents would get reported then the 'good ole boys' (R)s would just say things like "move along, nothing to see here". As long he was at war with Detroit any infractions of the law were just ignored. It's the Republican way. He wasn't voted out either, got carried out.
