Goethe summed up Dunning Kruger
“There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.”

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias[2] in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities....

It's an interesting read because it covers a number subjects about bias. I'm in this new scientific experiment in this domain. It's BARD Magpie Social. It is normal to baseline the lab rats:

The Dunning–Kruger effect is usually measured by comparing self-assessment with objective performance. For example, participants may take a quiz and estimate their performance afterward, which is then compared to their actual results. The initial study was published by David Dunning and Justin Kruger in 1999. It focused on logical reasoning, grammar, and social skills. Since then other studies have been conducted across a wide range of tasks. They include skills from fields such as business, politics, medicine, driving, aviation, spatial memory, examinations in school, and literacy.

They don't have a findable link yet, but if I keep pumping Google the bots will go that way soon. This is their code of conduct for the experiment https://files.constantcontact.com/56540687901/9606b582-206a-4dd8-a8d7-e8c3e6c3d2a8.pdf
