There aren't even that many P-63's left to worry about taking down B-17's.
Actually, lazy count was four airworthy P-63’s and four currently airworthy B-17’s (with 5 or 6 more potentials)…just saying…but that was the fault of the Air Boss all the way.
Ah. Sad - I hope at least a couple put the $$ into keeping them flying. But Nothing lasts forever.
I am lucky to have flown on 909 many years ago. Unforgettable.
