I hope Bella is enjoying her 'only cat' status. My old gal was enjoying life as the elder cat with only two others. Now she has to accept 5 growing kitties and while she is mostly peaceful about it, I can tell when she is getting crowded. I just so want her to stay around long enough to teach the new kits disrespect for dogs. My old gal here grew up in a special household where even large dogs were scared of the cats.
She is the last of that linage and it needs to be passed on.
Nothing in the world like the sight of a 100 pound Saint Bernard slikning away from a 6 pound old cat. She has Cattitude! And, she is of royal linage, she is a "Turkish Van", a cat known for attitude from the start.
Quite a find as a young stray.
She has taught me much about cats.
