"Risk of Terrorism" As an Excuse for Everything

It seems that we are not the only country where people have gone bug-fucking nuts about terrorism. In the UK a couple were banned from a shopping mall for life because they took photos of their grandchildren. The excuse given was that the mall banned photography because of the risk of terrorism.

Ayup. Considering that most of the cell phones now have cameras built in and the newer phones are in the multi-mexapixel range, any terrorist scout can walk around with a cell phone and snap photos to his/her heart's content. This one is just exceedingly stupid and is an indication of how crazy things are getting everywhere.

There was a time with both Englishmen and Americans were proud and brave peoples. Now, it seems, and thanks to the leadership of Chimpy and his Poodle, a climate of fear has been generated to the point that people are afraid of their own shadows.

And then, of course, is our politician whose sentence structure really is "noun, verb, 9-11." In referring to his loss in Iowa, Giuliani said: "None of this worries me - Sept. 11, there were times I was worried."

"Be very afraid" is the message of the GOP. The line "fear will keep the people in line" is not original to the GOP, but that is all they have to offer. (That, and tax cuts for rich folks.)

I will be SOOO GLAD when these PBW's* have to go home and inflict their paranoia on their friends and family instead of the public in general.
Fucking go home and dig a goddamn moat around your house and get some vicious dogs to entertain yourselves.
They sound like a bunch of old women.
" Make sure that door is locked, we don't want Alladin and his forty thieves sneaking in in the middle of the night and cutting our poor old throats!"
Give me a fucking break. They should worry about slipping in the tub and breaking a hip. The odds are a helluva lot higher.

No shit. Like this site and the attitude. Also like planes and have to include this address

http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6074013

of a picture of a plane taken by a fellow with the same last name as mine. Drove out to Chino,CA to see a ME-262 and it was worth it. Where my old shop was at is now the first gated community in Steamboat Springs. Fuck you guys. With all the beetle kill eventually a fire will destroy many of these trophy homes lived in at the most two months a year. What the fuck is going to protect you then assholes.

One Fly,

Nice to met you, and thanks for the nice words. I visited Chino in the late `80s, haven't been out there since.

Generally there is a picture of a plane somewhere on my site but not lately. Liked yours so much put one up last night. The SAC museum just outside of Omaha is worth a visit too. The premier plane suspended in the lobby is a Blackbird. I'll be back.

That is indeed a nice photo of an "Iron Annie" on your site.
