The federal judge presiding over the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump in Florida dismissed the prosecution on Monday, siding with defense lawyers who said the special counsel who filed the charges was illegally appointed by the Justice Department.
The decision by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, which can be appealed and may later be overturned by a higher court, brings at least for now a stunning and abrupt conclusion to a criminal case that at the time it was filed was widely regarded as the most perilous of all the legal threats the Republican former president confronted.
A corrupt decision by a bootlicking, partisan judge, shadow-written by the Federalist Society. Even if it's overturned on appeal, there's no guarantees that the COFF's lackies on the Supreme Court won't back her up.
And if this special counsel was "illegally appointed", then what about the one that investigated Biden, Pence and who got a conviction of Hunter? Does that conviction now become null and void?

I think this is going to the 11th circuit court in a hurry.Judge Cannon obviously didn't think this through.
Did Democracy just take a broadside? Will the SC dupes then finish it off?
This does raise the slight possibility that the case will land in front of a competent judge now.

I'm not a lawyer, Mark, just an Old Outlaw who's done quite a bit of business with lawyers, but I think this just got fast-tracked to the Gestapo Court, who will decide the election

Vacating the Hunter Biden verdict is going to be the test.Like I said, she didn't think it through.
Mark, “not thinking it through” is Corrupt Cannon’s trademark.
