Florida Gov. [and notorious human trafficker/kidnapper] Ron DeSantis on Wednesday flew two planes of immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, escalating a tactic by Republican governors to draw attention to what they consider to be the Biden administration’s failed border policies.
Flights to the upscale island enclave in Massachusetts were part of an effort to “transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” said Taryn Fenske, DeSantis’ communications director.

Two buses of migrants from the U.S.-Mexico border were dropped off near Vice President Kamala Harris’ home in residential Washington on Thursday morning in the bitter political battle over the Biden administration’s immigration policies.

Abbott [the Coyote] tweeted that he’d sent the buses that arrived Thursday: “We’re sending migrants to her backyard to call on the Biden Administration to do its job & secure the border.”
The difference is that the racists of sixty years ago gave warning of what they were doing. The bigots of today are engaging in blindsiding people with their human pawns.

Is there not some federal law against transporting illegal aliens across state lines?
Rotten Ronny may have tried to out-evil Greg but he still had to go to Texas to borrow a couple of plane loads of immigrants.
Those Venezuelan migrants may have been lied to and tricked and played as pawns in a cheap political stunt, but at least they aren't in fucking Texas any more.

It is my understanding that these are refugees applying for asylum; that means that, although they are not US citixens, they are not illegal immigrants.
I read this somewhere else.
Let's take all the weapons seized from felons and send them to the felons in FL and TX. Then see how their governors respond to that stunt.
It doesn't equate to what Desintis or Abbot did and wouldn't be fair to the lawful citizens of those states. Just a thought exercise.
Also, I read that the right was saying "Aha! Those liberals on Martha's Vinyard sent the refugees to Cape Cod! Such hypocrites!" But what the imbecilic right doesn't get, is that the refugees were taken care of by the left. They were given food, shelter, and clothing immediately, for the short term. Then provided transportation to long term care in a nearby town where facilities available.
The right refuses to see the reality and instead remains connected to their preconceived biases and prejudices.
