A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Ignition system? Still, cool animation.

My call is dual Turbo-diesel.
Eckk!
I’ll agree with Eck!, but I can’t match the configuration up. The turbo plumbing is custom, and the alternator location doesn’t look like any Cummings, Duramax or Power Stroke currently advertised. It’s pretty fun to watch anyway.
Rather hypnotic.
Looks like a small-block Chevy, with the distributor under the firewall.
Almost as good as those clear-plastic working models from yesteryear.
Ugh. I did that for 25 plus years and now I get to watch it on the internet? Ugh.
Although engines were kind of my specialty. You'd get most of a week basically alone in the back shop. Not get pulled off to do a bunch of small stuff like usual. I got Chevy V-8's down to 3 days with a crate engine. Out, apart, in again, and running.
Now doing a Big Block in a Motor Home was a real job. Especially the time the customer decided to camp in it at the Dealership, while I worked on it. Their dog liked to move my wrenches around like chromium bones.
Ah yes, work. That's why I retired.
