When I posted my first entry on the FlightPrep story, I wasn't sure who was in the right or who was in the wrong.
One thing that is sort of telling is that FlightPrep doesn't allow comments for its "we wuz wronged, I tells ya" post on its blog.
And now it seems that some lunatic associated with FlightPrep is e-mailing people who have contacted FlightPrep directly (or who have written about the story) and has been threatening them.
That tends to make it clearer. When someone associated with a party starts threatening reporters over coverage, it makes it a bit more apparent who is in the wrong.

I'd maintain after reading the patent it's worthless and BS.
People have done this before and it's old hat. They managed to snow the patent office and avoid prior art that is considered mostly common art as in been done before and not even copyrighted and in some cases likely there is a copyright that the patent infringes on.
They blew it big time.
