That Fine Republican Whine

"You people in the media are so mean to me!"

Let's see if, for once, the media can collectively grow some stones (unlike the Democrats) and stop retreating in the face of the Whine of the Conservatives. Republicans are classic bullies. If you stand up to them, they slink away and whine about how unfair you are to them.

McCain screwed the pooch in both how he picked Palin and how he handled the blowback from that choice. So now, the tactic is to whine about the treatment and gloss over the patent inadequacies of John McCain and the McCain Campaign.

When Hillary Clinton complained about the coverage from the press, the conservatives, including Palin, accused her of whining. But now those very same conservatives, including Palin, are serving up that fine whine by the caseload.

They are hypocrites and it is high time that someone in the media, other than Jon Stewart, calls them on it.

On another note, have you noticed how the Republicans keep talking about "liberal Washington," while completely ignoring who has been the president for the last eight years? (You know, that classic liberal, George W. Bush.) They also are ignoring which party had control of the Congress for six of those eight years (the Republicans).

Dan Froomkin didn't ignore it. And neither should anyone else.
