Orange Felon Can't Tell Me What to Do

Once Again, War Gets Fought on the Backs of the Poor, Working and Middle Classes

Republicans are considering reductions in federal health spending to help pay for a budget bill containing as much as $200 billion to fund the Iran war and immigration enforcement.

Because it's unthinkable to increase taxes on big corporations and billionaires, the Republicans are going to push the cost of this war on those at the bottom of the pyramid.

Once again, the costs of war are folling on those least able to bear the burden.

But you have no fear of ever being drafted do you? Everyone who volunteers knows they may go to war... and they volunteered anyway.

So you're of the "they bought their ticket, they knew what they were getting into, I say, let 'em crash."

They trusted their lives to this country. They shouldn't get killed/wounded for anything other than a damned good cause.

This war isn''t it. Trump skated out of Vietnam and he's now sending our kids to fight in Vietnam 4.0.

3for 3:

That’s not where I stand at all as a volunteer myself.

When people sign up to serve, they’re placing enormous trust in this country and its leadership. That trust comes with a responsibility: if we ask them to risk their lives, it should be for a clear, necessary, and justifiable purpose—not something questionable or avoidable.
That’s exactly why this situation is so troubling. It’s not about dismissing their sacrifice—it’s about honoring it by making sure we don’t spend it carelessly. And when leadership, including Donald Trump, has avoided service themselves yet puts others in harm’s way, it raises serious questions about judgment and accountability and integrity.

Our service members deserve better than that. Always.

Meanwhile, ICE goons will be making sure none of the graduating marines in South Carolina have undocumented family members attending the ceremony.

If they're looking to divert some bucks to the Illegal Republican War, there's a whole lot of cash in the ICE fund I hear.

That's surprising. Hasn't this administration and their ICEstapo always shown the greatest respect for the military and veterans? Especially those that have served while not being U.S. citizens. /S
