Terry Moran: What does [the Declaration of Independence] mean to you?
Trump: Well, it means, uh, exactly what it says. It's a declaration. It's a declaration of unity and love and respect, and it means a lot. And it's, uh, something very special to, to our country.
Clearly, he's never read the fucking thing past the title. To his decaying mind, it's just a piece of ornamentation.
Trump is the Reverse Lincoln: With malice towards all and charity towards none.

When teaching an introductory course on American politics, I read an occasional answer like this. I wondered if I could give negative points. I’m not sure that he read the complete name: of independence.

Moran was gobsmacked and speechless at Trump's description of the Declaration...and looked down incredulously at Trump. Here's a screenshot:

Trump: Not. A. Clue. Arendt: The banality of evil.
Great line on the Anti-Lincoln. Thought of him as the AntiChrist, but this nails it too.

pissed at the King for pulling much the same shit FLOSS
is doing.

stuff, ban it.
