California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Tuesday emphatically defeated a recall aimed at kicking him out of office early, a contest the Democrat framed as part of a national battle for his party’s values in the face of the coronavirus pandemic and continued threats from “Trumpism.”
Elder, who would have replaced Newsom if the recall succeeded, showed that he has far more class than His Orange Idol and conceded the contest.
The only good thing is that, at least from Elder, we're probably not going to hear screams about voter fraud. But from the rest of the batshit-insane right will probably be out there, yammering away.

Perhaps if he hadn't lost by such a wide margin, he might have been more inclined to go with the voter fraud lie. Voter fraud won't account for a two to one loss, even in Republican fantasy land.

Elder lost by such a wide margin that it might be called Elder abuse...
He started the voter fraud claims before voting even started. It was the Trump playbook from the beginning.
Elder lost 2 to 1 with only 40 something percent of the available votes. I wonder what would have happened with 60% of the vote?
You would think it's time to put tRumpism to bed but I am sure we will continue to hear claims of fraud.
Glad to still be in the 2rst century here in Ca.

But he semi-conceded, then remarked the war was not over. Is that the Q storm where we dems are executed as pedo cannibal satanist communists? OK. Yea, we're clear, still Trumpite treason all the way down. Big GQP grifting and more hapless brain dead (soon covid dead) bucks to be hoovered trumpward. Git it while the gittin' is good (not quite all dead yet- give them time, give them time).
Does Elder truly see himself as the face of the party of Q (Putin) going forward to the next Trumpite insurrection? Does anybody?
But Elder's goal was the same as all these sucker fish's dreams: becoming the next Trumpite spokesmodel and grifting wealth beyond dreams of avarice.
So maybe there is more money to be ground out of this long con than expected, even in true blue California. Mission accomplished Elder.
Elder did raise about $14 million dollars. Might be small potatoes to some folks, but around these parts, that's more than enough to get by on for several decades!
