So Tucker Carlson is, apparently, denigrating female soldier.

Maybe Tucker can show us his DD-214. Oh, that's right, he can't because he has never served a day in his life. In point of fact, he has never served anywhere in any capacity. Other than applying to the CIA and being refused, Tucker has never had a job where he had to do much of anything other than running his mouth on first a typewriter and no on the air.

His opinions on anything to do with the military are worth less than the ravings of an intoxicated street person (who, unlike Little Tuckie, might have served in the armed forces). Remember, he's a propagandist for the far right, including his orange god, TFG. Apparently, in a court filing in a libel case, Fox NEws said that Carlson doesn't state actual facts, but that his stock-in-trade is exaggeration and mockery.

In other words, Carlson is nothing more than a professional clown. He deserves the appropriate amount of respect.

Which is to say: None.

Calling him a professional is a disservice to clowns. The conservatives and republicans are only concerned with agendas that are self-serving. Your example of Sen. Wicker is evidence. Me, me, me; how will _______ benefit me.

To hell with them all. They told us to ‘deal with it’ when TFG was there for four self serving years. Now they whine about their inability to cope with someone else getting a helping hand, especially when that hand is helping the poorer people of the nation.

If I don't have the right to be critical, some trust-funder punk who's not only never done a day's work in its life but didn't get dishonorably discharged doesn't have that right either.

This almost picks up the conversation down(up?)stream: not just four years ago but throughout the aughts the ratrds (look it up) were wall-to-wall "suck it up buttercup, you lost, get over it." "Fuck your feelings." The same people pounding the war-drums then are the ones shit-talking servicemembers today; for all the blue lives matter bullshit, trump's insurrectionists were assaulting, attempting to kill - - and killed one - cops; those shouting FREEDUMB the loudest, goose-stepping around a flag-draped cross, are the ones most advocating a police-state.

Oh, right, Obama smirked ...

Since Tucker has been proclaimed an entertainer and not a newsman, why is there no disclaimer at the beginning of his program? You know "The views expressed here are solely the views of this person and have no bearing on reality". Verbally and written should do. Although they could mail a written one to his viewers for all I care.
He is allowed to retain credibility despite being judged "entertainment" and that's not right considering his content.

Well said by all. Just remember he and the other half of of the troll brothers control the narrative. And while Tucker was spewing that drivel every bobblehead watching was nodding in agreement. Just makes me want to puke.

Found on "Insider":

Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth didn't mince words on Thursday when reacting to the Fox News host Tucker Carlson's recent comments about women in the military.

"F--- Tucker Carlson," Duckworth, an Iraq War veteran and Purple Heart recipient, tweeted. "While he was practicing his two-step, America's female warriors were hunting down Al Qaeda and proving the strength of America's women."

She added: "Happy belated International Women's Day to everyone but Tucker, who even I can dance better than. ...and we all know it was his female partner who did all the hard work."

Carlson was making fun of Biden's statement about redesigning flight suits for pregnant women.

He was denigrating Biden and the Pentagon, not female soldiers. But how would you know? The linked story has zero words from Tucker Carlson.

Third paragraph is a direct quote of the comment .

Some one needs to brush up on comprehension .

Show me the quote 'denigrating women'.

There isn't one.

Carlson, who is effectively the face of Fox and hosts the top show on the right-wing channel, ridiculed President Joe Biden Tuesday for saying that the US military had created uniforms to fit women properly, created maternity flight suits for those who are pregnant, and updated requirements for hairstyles.
"So we've got new hairstyles and maternity flight suits," Carlson snarked. "Pregnant women are going to fight our wars. It's a mockery of the US military."

You think that is denigrating women?

He is denigrating the idiots in charge.

No, you're just denigrating women in the exact same way so it doesn't seem bad to you.

You said "the linked story has zero words from Tucker Carlson". I was pointing out your mistake .
Moving the goal post doesn't change that .

I know better than to denigrate women.

And my 'goal post' is the same- Biden et al are who is being ridiculed.
