A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Then, if that is the case, why did the LEFTists push so hard for Mail-In voting?
I mean, a hundred-Four year old woman can do it in person....
Gee, because people should have choices about how they cast their ballot, as long as it’s legal? Because some people are in wheelchairs, hospitals, assisted living facilities, can’t get time off from work, (which one hopes wasn’t the case for this 104 year old), etc.
So you would deny my mother the right to vote because she can't make it to the polling place? Good to know.
Republicans: Still the party of suppress the vote. A vote for a Republican is a vote for James Crow!
Yer mommy could have applied for an absentee ballot, now couldn't she?
Nice twist.
If Ruth can vote in person, any mobile person can. If not, there are alternatives.
You twisting things doesn't negate my question. It merely avoids it. Hides from it.
What about immune compromised voters, B? Is exposing themselves to possible disease and death the price they must pay for mobility and voting? What alternative(s) are there to voting in person?
Apparently Ruth lives in the neighborhood where her polling place is located and she wanted to make a statement.
“I want to vote more than anything just today before I shoot that asshole Trump,” she said.

Same as my 98 year old mother did, but by mail-in ballot because of Covid-19 and the fact she's in assisted living. Ballot status confirms it arrived and will be counted for Biden/Harris and down ballot Democrats. She was a Republican in the 50's, but soon switched parties as Nixon was so awful.
B: Although requests for mail in ballots are by Democrats 2 to 1 over Republicans, you do agree that protection/preservation of life is a good thing to push for very hard?
With all the voter suppression schemes occuring, not everyone can stand in line for hours and hours especially in inclimate weather even if "mobile". Fortunately, Ruth got to go to the head of the line with her walker in hand.
B
What is the down side of allowing everyone to vote in any way they can manage to vote during a pandemic? Or at any other time? Are you afraid that democracy might break out if everybody voted and then all the votes got counted?
B, I sincerely hope you find yourself standing in line for twelve hours only for the polls to close as you get to the door. In a snowstorm.
Aaannndd Ten Bears shows his classy (and childish) side.
Not that it is a surprise. He gives the rest of you liberals a bad aura.
Ignore Ten Bears and address what others have written here, B.
I don't care WHO you vote for, but go VOTE dammit... It's your right and privilege!!!
What's childish about it (though you do know childish)? Or for that matter lacking in 'class', whatever that is? A sincere hope that you are as inconvenienced by your compart's efforts to prevent the rest of us from voting? Balls on a brass monkey, boiled down to ones and zeros: I, nor doubtfully anyone but you in this room, and judging by the early turnout a sizable if not majority of the population whose vote you have so endeavored to suppress will the ones standing in line, in places in the snow, to vote on Tuesday. The ones standing in line will predominantly be those who waited, for whatever reason: obstinate assholery, worship of a false prophet or sheer stupidity, failed to plan ahead, failed to take advantage of whatever means available to them to overcome the adversity and exercise their right to vote.
But then I find it doubtful you are actually a voter. Yo mama's calling ...
Let’s see, B’s hero is an already infected once, obese male who voted by mail...and has done so repeatedly over the past decades...so now we should all not be allowed to because...???
Let’s see...vote by mail with a full paper trail...vote early, in most states with a full paper trail...or vote the day of with very little paper trail? Who is trying to cause fraud, eh? I voted early, and did so with a printed paper ballot...I vote tomorrow, and it’s a touch screen and NO paper trail. Pull the other one, B.
To answer your question B (choose all that apply):
1) Because the LEFTists actually care about not spreading the Coronavirus to others.
2) To enable those with weak immune systems, the ill, and the infirmed to exercise their rights as citizens.
3) Because absentee ballots have been mailed in for decades.
4) So that the armed "Trump poll-watchers" won't/can't intimidate those that choose to vote otherwise.
Don't even try to claim that your side doesn't use intimidation. See the Biden/Harris bus on I-35 in Texas, or the good folks here in Michigan who took rifles to Lansing to protest back in April. Even Don Jr. has instigated supporters to intercept the Biden/Harris bus on its way to McAllen, Tx on social media.
Those Trump supporters think that by being loud and obnoxious they are somehow defending democracy. Quite the contrary they are showing themselves to be the type of individuals who would step on their fellow Americans.
You are just being contrarian to stir up disagreement by defending the indefensible. Your continued position of defending everything Trump is risking your credibility, as if it hasn't been damaged already.

Like your side hasn't used similar tactics. Intimidation is a Leftist hallmark. (we can go back to the Dixicrats or even farther if you care to learn from history).
As for the original point:
If Ruth can make it to the polls, to vote in person, then pretty much anyone not homebound can do so. If yer homebound, we have (and always have in the past 50 or more years) had absentee ballots for those folks.
If Ruth can do it, then why can't the rest do it?
The vast majority of voters don’t live within walking distance of their polling precinct, for one thing.
