NEW HAVEN — A former parolee with a long history as a petty criminal was convicted of capital crimes on Tuesday for his part in a brutal nighttime home invasion in Cheshire, Conn., three years ago that left a woman and her two daughters dead. The jury deliberated less than one full day.The jury probably deliberated for less than four hours, convicting Asswipe on 16 of 17 counts; the only not guilty verdict was on an arson charge. The penalty phase of the trial (life in prison or death) starts in two weeks.
One way or another, the only way that piece of human garbage will leave prison will be in a box.
