Hannah Giles, the chief executive of Project Veritas, said Monday she has stepped down from her role at the right-wing group “effective immediately,” after discovering evidence that the organization has engaged in “past illegalities.”

“Though I had high hopes when I joined the organizations, I stepped into an unsalvageable mess — one wrought with strong evidence of past illegality and past financial improprieties,” Giles wrote in a post on X. “Once such evidence was discovered, I brought the information to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.”

It's never good when your replacement rats you out to the Feebies. But I don't hold out much hope that he'll get the justice coming to them. The Feds don't like the risk of losing, so it's rare that they file charges unless it's a sure thing. It's like a heavyweight boxer not entering the ring unless his opponent is either under the age of seven or is in a coma.

And there it is. If your doctor thinks that you need an abortion to protect your health and/or to preserve your fertility, the men in the Cult of the Fetus will demand the right to sit in judgment of you. In essence, unless you can prove to those men that you're going to die, no abortion for you. Even if your doctor says you're going to die, if the judges in the State Fetal Review Court disagree, anyone who helps you will run the risk of going to prison.

Someone who is good with graphic design should remake the Texas state seal to show a fetus in the center.

And the Hungarians are as despicable and untrustworthy now as they were then. Hungary is part of NATO and the EU, but they are a fifth column supporting the Russians.

What Took Her So Long?

The Texas woman who sued the state for an abortion after receiving a lethal fetal diagnosis has now fled Texas in order to obtain the procedure, the Center for Reproductive Rights announced in a statement Monday.

The woman, Kate Cox, a 31-year-old mother of two from Dallas, sued Texas last week. While a lower-court judge ruled to allow Cox to receive an abortion, the Texas state supreme court on Friday paused that ruling. In her lawsuit, Cox said that continuing the pregnancy could threaten her life and future fertility.

Texas's Official Incel, Ken Paxton, likely threw himself to the floor, had a fit and chewed on the carpet when he heard the news.

Ms. Cox would do well to never return to Baja Oklahoma.

About 200 pickup trucks needed to transport ammunition and evacuate the wounded from the front line are blocked at the border because “deliveries have practically stopped,” said Ivan Poberzhniak, head of procurement and logistics for Come Back Alive, Ukraine’s largest charitable organization providing the military with equipment.

The pickup trucks are easy targets for Russia, so it’s impossible to deliver enough of them even normally, he said.

When drivers show documents to the Polish truckers saying the vehicles are for Ukraine’s military, “it does not have a significant impact on the protesters,” Poberzhniak said.

“We must understand that during wartime, supply is needed on a daily basis in all directions,” he said.

The protesters say they're not blocking aid to aid to Ukraine, but the reality is that they are. The only reason to block humanitarian and military aid is because it's in Russia's interest for them to be doing so.

But to be fair, I shouldn't be so hard on Polish truckers. We have a bunch of Putinite congressmen and senators who are, in essence, doing Russia's bidding, whther they will admit to it or not.

It's kind of funny, in a sad way. Republicans were once wary of Russia, but the Russians have given a lot of money to the TOFF's companies and now, because it's in the TOFF's interest, the GOP is backing Russia, lock, stock and barrel.
