If you do, convert it into being a range toy, and one that is not carried in a holster for matches.
This is what I've gleaned: The sear striker safety can move a bit out of alignment if the gun is shaken, which can happen when running around. Then, if the gun is bumped, it can fire.
If you are fine with a striker-fired gun not having a manual safety, get yourself a Glock or a S&W M&P/Shield. If you want the safety, then S&W.
