Russia’s former transport minister has died from a gunshot wound just hours after Vladimir Putin sacked him.
The body of Roman Starovoit, the ex-minister, was found in his car in a Moscow suburb. He appeared to have killed himself, Russia’s investigative committee said in a statement.
Yes, he shot himself in the back of the head, four times, from 6 feet away. I guess that shoving him out of a 10th floor window wouldn't send the right message to other minions.
You can bet that the fuhrer of Mar-a-Lago is on the phone to Noem and Patel, saying: "Did you see what Putin had done? Why can't you do that for me?"

A presidential decree published earlier on Monday gave no reason for the dismissal of Roman Starovoit after barely a year in the job, though political analysts were quick to raise the possibility that he may have been dismissed in connection with an investigation into corruption in the region he once ran.
Reuters could not independently confirm these suggestions, though a transport industry source, who declined to be named due to the sensitivity of the matter, said Starovoit’s position had been in question for months due to questions about the same corruption scandal, which centred on funds earmarked for fortifying Russia’s border with Ukraine in the Kursk region.

Failure is not an option?
Buddy boy really keeps up the skeer. Pretty soon he'll be up there with Stalin on the fear-o-meter. Joseph Vissarionovich died slow and hard of a stroke...and just lay there for a while, because everyone was scared green of him and the situation. Such a fucked up country. Of course, we're not doing so great just now with our Dear Leader
