Back when I drove OTR, it was not uncommon for one truck to drive in the breakdown lane and be accommodated at the lane drop just to thwart the line-cutting delays as they try to merge at the drop.Don't know if it happens now, drivers were considered professionals in the late '70s.

Mark and Comrade, I was known to angle into the disappearing lane as a blocker. I always had the support of my fellow compatriots after a few whizzed by. The best internet name I ever saw was the five tool tool. An inspiration for sure. Carry on.
