Lock Them Up! Lock Them All Up!

Dozens of protesters took over a building at Columbia University in New York early Tuesday, barricading the entrances and unfurling a Palestinian flag out of a window in the latest escalation of demonstrations against the Israel-Hamas war that have spread to college campuses nationwide.

Video footage showed protesters on Columbia’s Manhattan campus locking arms in front of Hamilton Hall early Tuesday and carrying furniture and metal barricades to the building, one of several that was occupied during a 1968 civil rights and anti-Vietnam War protest on the campus. Posts on an Instagram page for protest organizers shortly after midnight urged people to protect the encampment and join them at Hamilton Hall. A “Free Palestine” banner hung from a window.

If it was wrong to break into a public building on 1/6/21, an act for which a lot of people have gone to jail, it is even more wrong to break into a privately-owned building to throw political temper tantrums.

More than that, who the fuck do they think they are convincing of the righteousness of their cause? Public and legal protests are one thing, they can show large support for a cause. But riots (and this is now a riot) do nothing. Did the BLM riots in Portland a few years ago do anything but lose support for their cause? Did the Capitol invasion as part of the TOFF's Coup Attempt do anything other than put a lot of people in prison?

If it was OK to go after the Capitol Hill insurrectionists with the full force of the criminal justice system, then it's OK to go after these turdlets.

I'm sorry Cap'n but what BLM riots in Portland are you referring to? The NAZI riots your president and the mainstream multi-million in-bred monkey media pinned on BLM and the Anti-Fascists, antifa? The one where the pigs colluded with the NAZIs in gunning down an unarmed civilian? The one where the peaceful "this is our town get the frog out" protestors ran your gun-humping NAZI cucks off with battery powered leaf-blowers?

Apples and onions, at best ...

"My president"?? If you are referring to the last guy, then who do you think you're talking to?

As to the composition of the rioters, I'll defer to your local knowledge.

Being the old broad I remember the long hot summer (1960s),
and the various campus takeovers. They all ended the same.
It was illegal and it made the 6-o-clock news.

It was ineffective many got their heads bashed or worse.

SOS, Same Old Shit. Run with the stupid, get stupid pains.

Seriously, is anyone on the right side in a riot? The protesters and the cops become their stereotypes. The protesters are violent and destructive, and the cops are hard-headed and viscous. War to protest war, and war to stop the war of protest, just doesn't seem to work.

Maybe so, but if we don't have defined rules and if people don't follow them, either we hold them to account or we can just say fuck it to law and order.

I haven't surveyed the blogs, but I'll bet heavily that the consensus of the "let the J6 patriots go" want these kids locked up and the reverse is also true.

Me, I say arrest them all and lock them all up. Break the law while demonstrating, get arrested and suffer the consequences.

I'll bet 7:2 that none of these kids are even investigated, and no one will ever be charged.

This is an Approved Protest for Leftists and therefore there will be no punishment.

But I am glad to see you showing some single standards, rather than the normal 2 or more depending on political viewpoints.

B, did you major in left-handed complements, or are you naturally a jerk?

In other words: Thanks for nothing.

Not much seems to be mentioned whether there might be agent provocateurs about. It would play both into Putin's hand "Look, the American people are violently rioting in support of terrorists." And into Trump's "Look, Biden can't control the situation and the left loves them some terrorists."

After someone I know blamed the protests on George Soros, it occurred to me that it was more likely that Russia is behind it.
