A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

I only saw a B-1B in flight once. I was at the Eastern States Exposition right after 9-11. All commercial air travel was still suspended. I was used to the sound of the C-5's out of Westover and F-15's out of Barnes, but this was an unfamiliar sound. I looked up and saw the B-1B flying directly overhead at a couple thousand feet. It made me happy to know the "some people that did something" were about to get bombed into oblivion.
B-1’s off Dyess used to lose an engine all the time on the way out to training areas in the West. It wasn’t a big deal, they could still do their mission, but if they reported it, the crash crews had to roll immediately and sit waiting for hours till they were coming back. So they’d report the engine loss to ATC only if another gave up or they were within 30 minutes of landing.
An airplane that is STILL looking for a mission... And noisy!!!
Old NFO, after they're all retired, the BUFF will be flying on.
