What the Hell Are These Things?

They go in the bottom of a flower pot, to restrict ~ retard ~ the flow of water going out the bottom

They look like peep hole plugs from a ceramic kiln. Possibly furniture for stacking ware in a kiln prior to firing.

Well, that's I use them for, to retard the outflow of water and aeriate the bottom of the pot; but checking with my potter spouse, with a kiln (for sale!) in the basement yes, that's what they are: what we would call in the sawmill stickers, spacers that go between what is to be dried. Mia culpa.
