Donald Trump said he expects to be arrested Tuesday and called on supporters to protest as a New York grand jury investigates hush money payments to women who alleged sexual encounters with the former president. There is no evidence, however, that prosecutors have made any formal outreach to him.
Let's be clear about one thing: When the TOFF demands that his supporters "protest", he's talking about violence. He also went on a screed about George Soros, which is his dog-whistle for blaming the Jews.
"Arrested"? As if. They only arrest people who don't turn themselves in. He doesn't have the guts to face the consequences of doing that.
A word to the wise: be prepared for some disruptions from his army of wet-brained supporters.
ETA: His mouthpieces are denying any knowledge of inpending charges. And the Second-Most Hated Man in Politics Today is standing with the man who wanted him killed.

I feel the tipping point is here. The extreme right has called for a revolution since 2018 or so. TOFF is acting like a spoiled child, but he has a cult following that follows his every word. We could be witness to the beginning of the second American Revolution, or the end of the Right wingnuts.

This has an odd smell to it.
Reading how Pence is now back to backing up Tr$$p it instantly reminded me of the Country song "Stand By Your Man". As stiff and puritanical as Pence is about certain things it's very strange to think of the implications of him following the song's words.
You know Jon, I think that's right. Our boy Bragg is pretty reluctant ...
The Cap'n can straighten me out, but from the view from the other side of the gate is: it's a process, the grand jury hands down what amounts to an answer to the DA's query 'yes, it would appear a crime (or misdemeanor) has been committed'; it is then incumbent upon the DA to petition the appropriate court, judge, for an arrest warrant; the judge in turn may or may not issue a warrant, or may merely cite the offender to appear in court, not unlike a traffic citation. Shades of Al Capone aside, this doesn't have a lot of sting to it and as pretty much the least of the offenses under investigation serves as fodder for his martyr meme as well as distraction from the greater offense.
I'm not sure our boy Bragg has his heart in it, or if he does ...
