Sorta the F-16 idea a couple of decades early. Designed as a lightweight and nimble fighter, ended up as a Britain’s trainer…but in Indian hands became known as the Sabre Slayer in the 1965 and 1971 wars. Always loved watching the Red Arrows flying the Gnat.
Yep, supposedly single seat, but there were obviously two seaters as one featured today. And the Red Arrows made them 'famous', if you will. Thanks!
