Are flight decks on American carriers still made of wood?
Not hardly.
That suggests many frames are gone and the basic hull is not
structural anymore. Looks like the hottest spot aft is
near the elevator and helo hanger and there are more than a
few holes flight deck around the island.
Not a good sight.
