Much of that track parallels US Hwy 101. And, they're restoring some of the Tillamook Branch trackage in Salmonberry Canyon. They cannot restore the entire branch, since much of the right-of-way has been converted to hiking/biking trails.

A spur extending south of Tillamook supported the two (sadly now, one) blimp hangars in WWII. Hangar B is now the Tillamook Air Museum,www.tillamookair.com
