You might remember the cop who arrested a nurse because she wouldn't draw blood from an unconscious patient and who then got fired when the story went viral. (His boss got busted down to being a beat cop.)
Two years ago, the City of Salt Lake and the hospital agreed to pay the nurse $500K to not be sued.
Officer Blood-Draw is now suing, saying that he followed both orders and procedure and was thrown under the bus.
I'm thinking "good luck with that".

He might've seen the cops getting off due to 'Qualified Immunity' in the appeals courts.
