All I have to say about the Closs case is that it's too bad that Wisconsin does not have the death penalty.

I was speechless when I saw the judge granted a $5,000,000 bond!
If it is cash-only, he has about as much chance of raising the money as I do of flying to Mercury.
Yea, five million cash bond. My question is why? He is clearly a continuing threat to Jayme, if not society as a whole, so why grant bond?
I don't know what the standards are in WI for denying bail. They may be very tough to meet. In such an event, the alternative is to set bail at an unreachable level.
