YUP. Pretty much. But even if Rubio, Kasich, Carson, and Reince said "SHAZAM!" 2 weeks ago and united behind Cruz to try to counter Trump, I think they would have failed even back then.
Anything bad that happens in elections to republicans is just fine from my perspective. Happy dumpster fire Reince, and may the orange headed guy drive you to a long rest in a nice sanatorium.
The full force of voting restriction laws hasn't been felt yet but will be come November so we're a helluva lot closer to Trump über alles now. Hillary is going to have to play a much better game to get over him than she's been able to to date. If Trump gets in without full control of Congress he's just the man to show us what's in the witch's stew called the National Security Act of 1947 (as amended). All he'll need is a crisis that'd give him a plausible excuse to declare a national emergency. And such a crisis should be easy for a talented flim-flammer like Trump to contrive.
