I've riffed on this before, more than once.
Now there is even bacon for the mall-ninjas. At sixteen bucks a can, the shade of PT Barnum must be laughing his head off.

If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

You can get the same basic bacon for 1/4th the price per slice, but without "tactical" on the can. And it's equally inedible, blech! And that's from a penguin who eats MRE's! I can decidedly think of better ways to spend my money...

Tactical status is easy; just paint something black and charge twice as much.
Although "Survive the Zombie Apocolypse with the power of bacon!" may be my favorite product tag line of the year.
I missed the black, plastic forearm on the Marlin 336. It's hard to believe somebody in the gun business would risk gettin' shot like that.
Before MREs there were, in the Canadian Army, IMPs (Individual Meal Packs). And before there were IMPs there were IRPs (Individual Ration Packs), that relied on cans of things (but the cans were stillin their civilian wrappings and colours, not painted green like C-rations). And the favouritest part of any breakfast IRP was - the tiny can of bacon! It was actually quite good and not slimy-fatty as so much of the canned bacon available now is.
