Unfortunately, no matter who wins, the assholes will still be in charge. IMHO, only vainglorious, selfish, greedy fuck-knots run for high office. it may be a different sort of assholery, but assholes will still be taking our money and making ridiculous laws and invading our privacy.

Face it, once Congress gains a wee bit of power, they never give it up -- they just "determine to use it more responsibly."

(Where "use it more responsibly" almost always equals "to our best advantage.")
