Nancy Nord, the head of the Consumer Products Safety Commission, has both fought against increasing the size of her agency and she has taken all sorts of perks from the very industries she is supposed to be regulating.
Maybe someone can explain how cutting the size of the CPSC is a "win for consumers", as Nord seems to think. Unless, of course, her idea of a "win" is defined as "more leaded toys for the kiddies."
