Colt will soon release Pythons with 5" and 2.5" barrels.

5" barrel guns seem to be prized when it comes to S&W N frames, so Colt may be onto something with that tube length. I'm not a big fan of 2.5" barrels. Between a 2" and a 3" gun, the 2.5" seems to be the worst of both worlds, in my unstudied opinion.
